It is important you are aware of the security measures issued by the Department for Transport. This will include restrictions on the amount of hand luggage, amount of liquids which can be carried in hand luggage; weight restrictions on hold and hand luggage. You will be required to have any electrical equipment screened separately. Medicines and baby foods are allowed, however there are guidelines around this which you will need familiarise yourself with. Also, from February 2010 Government legislation came into operation for use of Body Scanners in some airports. Passenger are selected at random and anyone who refuses to use the scanner will be denied travel. Are you scared of flying?
