The Long Stay South Terminal car park used to be known as the Parking Express. Located just five minutes away from the terminal and with regular shuttle transfers running every 10 minutes 24 hours a day, this on airport car park is convenient, secure and incredibly affordable.
Arrival Procedure
This car park operates with Automatic Number Plate Recognition. As such, you will need to enter the right registration plate for your vehicle when you initially book. When you arrive, your number plate will be recognised and a ticket will be printed for you at the barrier complete with your booking reference on it. You will be given a zone in which to park so follow the signs to that specific zone. Then go and wait at the nearest bus stop and make a note of the number.
Return Procedure
When you have your baggage, go to the courtesy coach area and follow the signs to the long term parking buses. You will need to make sure that the bus you get on is going to the bus stop you made a note of. When you get back to the car park, if your ticket has "Cashier" and not your booking number printed on it then you should head straight to customer services to have it validated. After that, or if your booking reference has been printed on the ticket, drive to the exit barrier and insert your ticket for it to lift.
Useful Information
The Long Stay South Terminal car park security is excellent. There is 24 hour CCTV coverage, floodlighting, high security fencing, automated entry and exit barriers and constant mobile patrols around the clock by vetted security officers. Furthermore, you also have the peace of mind that, should your car be damaged by a proven act or negligence on the part of the car park, you will be covered by their insurance.
There are extensive disabled facilities at the Long Stay South Terminal, including designated spaces but you will need to press the intercom button as you arrive to be given access to a disabled spot. There are also bus stops with disabled bays next to them and they have ramps for ease of use.
The only vehicle restriction in place at the Long Stay South Terminal right now is that additional spaces should be booked if you are to park with a trailer.
