Long Stay Car Park 7 is located on the East Midlands Airport site just 8 minutes away from the terminal building. It is highly secure and is incredibly popular because your car is taken care of whilst you are away. All transfers are performed on demand so you can literally park up and get a ride straight to the terminal rather than having to wait.

Arrival Procedure

This car park uses Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) so make sure that you input your car registration correctly when booking your spot in advance. Simply pull up to the entry barrier and wait for the system to take your number plate automatically. A ticket will then be issued and you can then park in any available space. If a ticket fails to print then press the button to do so. However, you will need your booking reference in that case

Return Procedure

When you collect your car, check your ticket to make sure it has your booking ID and number plate on it. If it does then pull up to the barrier and insert it into the barrier post. You will then be let out automatically. If it does not display the booking ID then push the intercom and quote your reference number to get through.

Useful Information

No trailers are allowed in this car park and leaving your vehicle there is at your own risk. However, they do have regular security patrols, CCTV, security fencing, automated entry, number plate recognition systems and exit barriers in place.
