Durham Valley Tees Park & Stay

The Durham Valley Tees Park & Stay is located on airport and so is within easy walking distance of the main terminal. It is in operation 24 hours a day and so is convenient for all passengers to use, as well as offering excellent value for money. This car park is self service so there will be nobody there to meet and greet you, but the main terminal is well signposted so there is no chance of getting lost or the hassle of having to wait for a transfer to ensure that you make your flight.

Arrival Procedure

Drive to the barrier upon arrival at the airport and insert the credit or debit card that you have booked your space with. It must be the same card or else your booking will not be recognised and so will not be honoured. Do not take a ticket. As soon as your card is recognised, the barrier will lift and you will be able to park up. You should print and bring your email confirmation just in case. You are advised to arrived 30 minutes early to ensure that you are able to find a space and make check in on time.

Return Procedure

When you arrive back at your vehicle, drive to the exit barrier and insert the same card into the slot next to the barrier. When it is recognised, the barrier will rise to let you out. However, if you did take a ticket when you entered the car park, it is possible to get a refund by presenting it along with an email confirmation or booking number for the original pre-booked space at the information desk. This is located at the terminal building.

Useful Information

Safer Parking Award and has comprehensive security facilities. It is manned 24 hours a day, has scheduled regular security patrols, security fencing, security lighting and 24 hour CCTV. There are also entry and exit barriers. There are 19 disabled spaces and they are allocated on a first come, first served basis but all disabled badges must be displayed at all times.
